Jacob Hayes Armstrong, 40, of Big Pine Key, Florida, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024. He was born on February 9, 1984 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Gabe and Mary (White) Armstrong.
Jake was a bodybuilder & four-time national qualifier of Indiana Muscle & Midwest Champion. He was a certified trainer and took pride in helping others along their fitness journey. Jake was an avid boater and loved being on or near the water as much as he could during his free time. He was also an animal lover. Jake adopted many cats & dogs through the years, leaving behind his most loyal companion, Joseph. To know Jake, was to love Jake. He had a free spirit & was always up for an adventure. He loved to laugh, crack jokes and never met a stranger.
Jake leaves behind his father, Gabe (Denise) Armstrong of Mt. Carmel; brother, Gerrit (Jamie) Armstrong of Mt. Carmel; his sister and biggest supporter, Marci Armstrong of Evansville, IN; two nieces, Allyson and Maleah
