Katelyn Renee Brown, 29, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 14, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1994, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, the daughter of Michael and Diana Grisham. She married Joshua Brown on July 15, 2017, at the Free Methodist Church in Mount Carmel, and they lived their lives together centered around their faith and family.
Katelyn was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. She extended kindness to everyone she met and always went out of her way to help others. Katelyn's favorite part about life was being a wife and mother. She was the loudest mom in the stands cheering for her children at their sporting events. Katelyn was very involved with anything to do with her children and having arts and crafts time with them brought her special joy. She enjoyed spending time with her BFFs, Kelly Weir and Meagan Reynolds who provided exceptional care for Katelyn up until the very end. She was a member of the W
