Nicholas Wallace Haskins, Jr., 80, of Allendale, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Oakview Nursing & Rehab. He was born on May 20, 1944 in Pittsfield, Illinois, the son of Nicholas and Katherine (Clause) Haskins. Nicholas married Patricia Wright on December 27, 1969 and together they enjoyed fifty-four years of marriage.
Nick will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was very strong in his faith and loved sharing the word of God with others. He spent many years in ministry working with Youth for Christ, Bibles for the World and was an Assistant Pastor at First Baptist Church in Elmhurst, IL. Nick was a Junior High School Teacher where he taught Social Studies and English. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Nick was a member of Wabash Presbyterian Church. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
