Janet E. Duncan, 72, of Albion, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on June 30, 1952, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, the daughter of Robert E. and Ruth (Mamer) Martin. She married Grover Duncan, and they were blessed with twenty-eight years together, centered around their family, until his passing on November 4, 1998.
Jan was a very caring person who worked in healthcare as a C.N.A. She enjoyed her work taking care of her patients in their home. In her free time, she liked to crochet, sew, listen to music and cook for her family. The love that radiated from her was felt by all who knew and loved her. She was selfless in every way. Taking care of her family, that was her world, friends and strangers alike. No one left her house without being fed and loved to the fullest.
