Levain J. "Andy" Anderson, 75, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on July 27, 1949, in Warroad, Minnesota, the son of Levi and Florence (McKinnon) Anderson. He married Sue Sanders on May 10, 1969, in Baudette, Minnesota, and together they celebrated fifty-five years of loving marriage.
Andy faithfully served his Country in the United States Marines. He owned and operated L. J. Anderson Construction and was a member of the Carpenters Union #224 of Evansville, Indiana until his retirement. Andy and Sue lived in Mount Carmel during the winter season and at their home in Baudette Minnesota during the summer months. He loved the outdoors and often went hunting, fishing and especially enjoyed trapping. As he got older, he found peace being in his deer stand.
