Dr. Narendra H. Anadkat, 77, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on March 12, 1947, in Dhoraji (Gujarat) India, the third child of Haridas Somji and Prabhaben (Nukka) of the Gujarat state in India. Dr. Anadkat immigrated to the United States in August 1973, for postgraduate study in internal medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he met and married his wife, Patricia Mills who was in nurses training at the time. The couple were united in marriage on October 1, 1976.
Dr. Anadkat moved his family to Mount Carmel, Illinois at the end of 1980 when he joined the staff of Wabash General Hospital. He practiced internal medicine for thirty-six years. Dr. Anadkat was a past member of WGH hospital board and worked as a hospitalist. He was a member of AMA, TAPI, Cultural Society of India in Evansville, IN. His wife and he were members of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Tristate Hindu Temple of Evansvill
