Ruby H. Dilbeck, 94, of Bellmont, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 19, 1930 in Patoka, Indiana, the daughter of Melborn and Gretal Mae (Slover) Harmon. Ruby married William "Bill" Dilbeck on April 3, 1948 at General Baptist Church in Fort Branch, Indiana. Together, Ruby and Bill enjoyed sixty-three years of marriage. Ruby and Bill enjoyed spending time at their river camp. She could often be found helping Bill with his woodworking projects and traveling to craft shows.
Ruby will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose love and care touched the hearts of all who knew her. She enjoyed starting her days with a cup of coffee while listening to music. Ruby was a fan of The Golden Girls, often finding joy in their timeless humor. She spent much of her time in the kitchen making delicious meals and baking the best chocol
