Howard Young, Jr, 78, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 17, 1946 in Keensburg, IL, the son of Howard and Mary (Howell) Young, Sr. Howard married Karen Bryant on November 23, 1968 and together they enjoyed fifty years of marriage before her passing on January 16, 2019.
Howard faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, finding joy in both hunting and fishing. Howard cherished spending time with his family and treasured being around his grandchildren. He was a dedicated employee where he was employed by Maclellan Integrated Services for seventeen years as a fork truck driver. Howard will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
